To complement the housing projects with Habitat for Humanity, TCF funded medical outreach through a mobile clinic visiting some of the settlement communities outside Phnom Penh. The project screened and treated close to 12,000 and worked to remove obstacles to follow-up treatment through referrals. 25% of the patients received support for transport and or testing. The project also promoted prevention, healthy living and effective disease management by training 120 Village Health Workers and provided health education for 5,600 community members. To assist and improve the services TCF also funded the construction of two medical clinics in Oudong and Andong respectively.
