In partnership with Robert F Kennedy Centre and the Cambodian NGO CIVICUS, TCF is supporting the introduction of Human Rights Education based on the book Speak Truth to Power by Kerry Kennedy. The project took advantage of the opened space for civic and human rights education by providing content and message delivery mechanisms to local organizations, raise the level of awareness of human rights among their constituents, and provide them with the educational tools they need to continue their activities in a sustained way. The project includes a photo exhibit and a play, Voices From Beyond The Dark, that has been performed in Phnom Penh and may be staged in other parts of Cambodia. The core deliverable was the production of 10,000 copies of an 80-page education curriculum on human rights and the distribution of the curriculum to educators along with training throughout Cambodia.
