93 Pakistan Flooding Relief

The worst floods in Pakistan in generations brought on by torrential monsoon rains affected more than 14 million people with some 2,000 killed according to United Nations estimates as of August 8, 2010. Huge volumes of water moved from the north to south and affected the most populous provinces of Punjab and Sindh leaving behind a trail of destruction. In Khyber Pakhtoon Khwa (KPK) many villages and agriculture fields were completely destroyed and roads washed away and bridges destroyed. The assistance involved Primary Health Care and access to sanitation for and estimated total of 16,800 people.
