CCBRT under the management of Erwin Telemans achieved significant successes and the funding from sources other than TCF continued to grow to the point where TCF became a small part of the overall program. This project was only for one year and was designed to improve access to treatment for 1,000 poor children with disabilities and provide training to 500 community health centre workers and to run community awareness campaigns. The follow on project TCF066 has taken the next step, providing not only outreach screening events, but also provided surgeries away from the hospital in Dar Es Salaam for six years.
