Based on previous water supply projects in the Savannakhet Province, this project was assisting 45,000 people in Atsaphone and Xonnabuly Districts in building and improving hygiene practices. It involved also capacity building of district water departments thorugh training of drilling teams and the installation of 261 water supply points with Tara pumps.,
