Following the post-referendum violence, this project was set up to renovate and/or construct 384 houses for victims of the violence through Habitat for Humanity using their Save and Build model, where a mortgage is payed back to a revolving fund. The project was implemented through two local affiliates in Aileu and in Liquica. Approximately 580 families benefited with adequate housing as a result of the program, when the houses build for revolving funds are counted.
