TCF started funding this project in 2010 and have since then helped save and stabilize the lives of many thousands of undernourished vulnerable refugees and their children in Nairobi, Kenya, through the provision of food assistance, until a long-term viable solution can be determined. RefugePoint is providing the food distribution in conjunction with a case management model, to help children and their families progress towards stabilization and self-reliance. This sort of targeted case management is practically unheard of in the urban refugee environment and represents an important innovation and best practice.
