Syabun Health Post is one of 7 birthing centres upgraded in Sankhuwasabha under this programme with One heart Worldwide. The upgrades complements the other OHW programmatic approaches to increase access to and improve the standard of care in these remote rural health facilities, decrease home deliveries, and improve the maternal and neonatal health outcomes in the areas. During Covid, the project furthermore received funding to secure distribution of Misoprostol to all pregnant ladies in the areas where OHW works as a safety meansure if the birth ended up having to take place in the homes due to unsafe Covid conditions at the helath clinics.
