An innovative prosthetic featuring a gait improving energy storing heel and the target was to produce the prosthetic for less than $100. The prosthetic was trialled on 20 patients at the Tanzania Training Centre for Orthopaedic Technologists in Moshe with outstanding feedback from the users. Further trialling and potential combination with other technologies was explored with CCBRT and the inventor.
