This project in Kratie, cambodia helped restore Khmer Rouge era dams, ponds and canals that are currently degraded and defunct to improve access to water for irrigation and agriculture, a key concern and priority for communities in Kratie. The access to water for irrigation impacted positively on community resilience and its ability to deal with various development challenges ranging from natural disasters, lack of access to markets for agricultural products to community conflict over land and resources.
