The Be Centre was founded in 2007 and has since then provided Play and Creative Therapy in and Around Sydney, with a special focus on the Northern Beaches. The unique therapeutic process is designed to support and strengthen the emotional wellbeing of children and their families who have experienced significant challenges and trauma. To date the funding for the Be Centre has been provided privately by Steve and Debbie Killelea while the Be Centre focused on receiving DGR status, as well as obtaining a Charitable Fundraising Authority in NSW. With the fundraising formalities now in place, the Be Centre with TCF support since 2011 is embarking on the process of developing the organisation to the point where the Be Centre will be self-sustainable in terms of funding.
