 Farm Mechanization Revolving Fund for Tibetan Farmers in India. Interested farmers was given loan for purchase of a tractor and other faming equipment with maximum repayment period of 3 years. The loan was given to farmers through respective settlement leaders. A total of 9 tractors with associated equipment such as hydraulic trailer and disc plough was funded initially. The funds returned has subsequently been reused for further loans and by early 2021, a total of 21 tractor sets have been acquired by the Tibetan farmers. Implementation 2013 – 2014 |
