The aim of the project was to meet all health and educational needs of a minimum of 94 children attending the children’s centre. The project aimed at maintaining and repairing buildings, furnishings and playgrounds and improve the facilities to be capable of meeting the needs of at least 120 children. The primary focus was to allow the shelter a period of secure funding to sort out the sustainability of the institution following the collapse of previous funding sources, when the brother of the founder died.
