This project was initially approved as a child health project in Yemen, but due to administrative difficulties in getting a project underway in Yemen, IRA suggested and TCF agreed to redirect the support to Baidoa IDPS Emergency Response Project (BIDER), a food distribution project in the refugee camp in Baidoa in Somalia.Over the last month of 2022 and the first four months of 2023, 320 Households of the most vulnerable refugees were given three food packages each consisting of 25kgs of rice, 10kgs of sugar, 25kgs of wheat flour, 5 litres of cooking oil, 2kgs of porridge, 2kgs of tea leaves and 1 tin of milk. A total of 1600 people were assisted.
