The project rehabilitated the eye of a high yielding spring in Maasai Mara to ensure that the naturally filtered water remains pure and free from contamination. Income from the sale of water ensure that the project can be well maintained. The spring water also supply livestock troughs and through a solar powered pump water is piped to the health clinic, two primary schools and one secondary school. This infrastructure work was accompanied by the necessary community engagement, training, monitoring and evaluation to ensure long term project sustainability.
