Samvedna (literally empathy in Hindi) is an Indian initiative working with disabled children in the state of Uttarakhand. The vision of Samvedna is for people with disabilities, particularly children, to lead healthy, safe and fulfilling lives with dignity, and to be valued and included in their communities. A small “bridge”funding from TCF allowed Samvedna to consolidate operations in the centres operated in Uttarakhand.
